Business Intelligence for Voice and Video Services:
Delivering customer-focused service assurance from A to V (including QoE)
» Official TM Forum Catalyst Project page
Along with project sponsor Orascom Telecom and project partners Tektronix Communications, we are demonstrating an integrated business intelligence application prototype that combines service with network-centric views for voice and video services. This application will provide valuable, unparalleled real-time insight into customer satisfaction metrics and identifying the root source (content, network or device) of reduced service functionality.
Scenarios
The growth of video traffic has far outpaced the development of analytics and business intelligence tools that provide valuable information about emerging usage patterns such as where video is sourced, it’s duration, resolution, and which devices are driving video traffic.
» Device Analytics: Identify which devices are driving the most traffic, QoE by device, device impact on network traffic.
»Learn more…
» Service Assurance: Identify which sites are drive the most traffic (YouTube, Netflix), identify popular content for on-deck services, off-deck vs on-deck usage, etc. »Learn more…
» Network Capacity and Congestion Analytics: Identify popular streaming protocols, identify cells/backhaul sites most congested, measure impact of congestion on QoE. »Learn more…
